All new patients receive a comprehensive exam and personalized evaluation of their dental needs. Upon completion of the exam and evaluation, the patient and dentist consult about where the patient has been, is presently and what the probable future holds for them dentally. Then the appropriate treatment plan is developed which achieves the two goals of protecting the teeth and satisfying the individual desires of the patient. It is through education and understanding that we hope to help the patients choose treatment options that are best for them.

Dental Office

Dr Myers’ dental office is located just off Route 100 at the intersection of Blackstrap Road and Washington Avenue Extension. We are easily accessible from all points of Greater Portland via the Maine Turnpike (exit 53), Washington Avenue, Auburn Street or Riverside Street.

The office treats patients and is designed to give individualized attention to each of our patients. We are completely computerized both within the office and are Internet connected with all available insurance companies for easy processing of insurance information. Digital intraoral photography and radiographs gives instantaneous diagnostic capabilities to our staff. We use the best and time-tested materials in the dental field to help ensure long lasting restorative success.

In order to control the cost of dental treatment, we request payment at the time service is rendered. If you have dental insurance, we will process the insurance forms as a courtesy to our patients. We request you pay only the estimated portion that the insurance will not cover. The patient’s portion is normally collected at the time of service.

Dentist Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only, so please call in advance to reserve a time. We do confirm appointments one to two days prior to the appointment. If, however, you are unable to keep this reserved time, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. This courtesy on your part makes it possible to give the appointment time to another patient.

Circumstances requiring urgent care arise from time to time. The doctor or appropriate coverage is available after hours and on weekends. All emergencies will receive immediate care, when possible.
